Private/ Commercial Insurance
We accept most types of private insurance. Please check with our clinic if you have questions.
Please be prepared to show your insurance cards at each appointment and pay any co-pay listed on insurance card at the time of your appointment.
The clinic at APO is a Ryan White Part C clinic. This means the clinic is supported by federal funds through grants by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).
Clients accepting Ryan White, Part C clinic medical services must present information proving annual gross income within 90 days of entering services at the clinic.
Acceptable proof of income includes:
- Copy of past tax return
- Social security award or check
- Check stub, or copy of any other income.
These will be accepted by the clinic or case management staff at APO.
Sliding Fee Scale
APO’s sliding fee program is designed to reduce barriers to accessing health services by offering medical services at a discounted fee to those who qualify. APO’s discount schedule of fees is based on household size and the poverty guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under authority of 42 U.S.C. 9902(2) and with approval from the APO Board of Directors.

(For HIV+ individuals)
Charges, if any, are billed quarterly by mail.

100%-200% | $10.00 charge per service |
201%-300% | $20.00 charge per service |
300% or above | Responsible for all medical, dental and mental health costs |
Non Ryan White Sliding Fee Scale
(For individuals who are not HIV+)
