Strap on your sneakers and leash up your dogs, it’s time for the 24th annual AIDS Walk. Join us on Saturday October 7th along with loads of vendors, and carnival fun
Join us for a morning of Coney Island excitement as we have fun, entertainment from 3.Little.Birds, and activities for the entire family. Registration starts at 9am the walk starts at 10am with a whole lot of fun and surprises throughout!
Don't forget the costumed dog parade, which will immediately follow the walk.
We will have prizes for the following categories:
- The Youngest Walker
- The Oldest Walker
- The group that raises the most money
- The family that raises the most money
- The largest walk group
- The individual that raises the most money
- Various prizes for those in the dog parade.
- Random drawings and prizes just for attending

World AIDS Day
Get out your love for music and tune in for one spectacular evening! We will be “Rockin’ 4 Red” once again!On Friday December 1st, 2017 APO is partnering with our dear friends at the Historic Gillioz Theatre and iHeart Media to bring you a sensational concert in recognition of World AIDS Day.This years World AIDS Day celebration will be hosted by KOLR 10’s very own Jeremy Rabe and Kelly Smith. Doors Open at 6:00pm, Show starts at 7:00pm.This event will be free, family friendly, and open to the public. It will feature several bands including the amazing and talented Detectives, a 50’s & 60’s rock cover band, Papa Green Shoes a band rooted in modern electric blues with touches of soul and rock, and 83 Skidoo which offers old-time re-imaginings of your favorite eighties and nineties hits.This event is sure to be a great time for all! Come help us support local music, the Gillioz and the successes we’ve seen in the treatment of HIV over the years!
